7th Gen Accord Coupe
I've been doing some research on mods for my girls 7th gen Accord Coupe and I notice that most sites only go up to '05 as far as applicable mods. I know it's the same gen but does anyone know what differences there were from 05 to 06. I want to make sure that the mods will work out okay.

As for the Accord, I'll have to check, but DBW may have something to do with it. I need to see if previous models had it.

There's the Drive-by-Wire throttle, so that kinda screws up a few things. It was new for 2006.
Also new for 2006 was a slight change to the intake and exhaust I think. You should still be able to do any catback exhaust (the V6 has 3 cats by the way! It shows them in the instruction booklet!)
Like dozorca says, cold air intakes from the 03-05 models will NOT fit on the 06 due the change in shape of the intake manifold.

for the 4-cylinder, as i own a 4-banger 06 accord coupe, the only intake you would be able to go with as of now is the Fujita CAI, which runs $250
headers and exhaust wise, nothing has changed. Suspension pretty much stayed the same too. If you want the aero kit, the OEM aero kit for the 06 is the only one i know of that will fit.
if you own the 6-cylinder, uhh.. im kinda lost on that lol...
gen7accord.com and driveaccord.net would probably be a lot of hlep if you got questions on that... also

Heh...I just bought my '06 I4 AT Accord a few days ago and still don't know jack about mods on this thing. IMO, it looks and drives good enough not having to do anything to it. The only mod I have ordered is an autodimming mirror. After driving an Explorer with it and retro'ed my '96 3.2TL with one so I'm spoiled. Gotta love those LED taillights!!!

You have it backwards. The 4cyl had DBW since 03. The V6 JUST got it this year.

The 05' Accord brochure also states: "The EX-V6 model comes with standard 5-speed automatic that integrates with the vehicle's Drive-by-Wire throttle system".
The following is from Honda's corporate website:
Powertrain improvements abound across the Accord line-up. The V6 engine's horsepower is increased to 244HP (+4 hp, SAE net revised 8/04) and the 4-cylinder engine's horsepower is increased to 166HP (+6HP, SAE net revised 8/04). Horsepower gains were achieved with extensive improvements to the airflow of the intake and exhaust systems. The 4-cylinder engines are now controlled with Drive-By-Wire (DBW), rather than a throttle cable, providing for smooth operation and enhanced throttle response. (Accord V6 engines already utilized DBW prior to the 2006 model year).
If you need to confirm then read the second last paragraph of the following:
