I love SMG principle but more and more i realize that one needs a true manual. Hopefully one day they'll make a manual that electronically controlled but still gives the driver that old-style manual feel

Why you need to bother with a clutch if you are given assisted power launch and quicker shifting and no missed shifts

SMG overcomes all stick problems..

I don't know if that power launch feature will be available for the U.S. market. Last i heard was that power launch ate clutches up pretty bad.

SMGII sounds wonderful but i think the SS of the CL leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Although in the BMW it should be very nice so i guess i could live with it
