2014 LA Auto Show
Making my annual thread...feel free to add photos from your trip.
Slow year. I zipped through the show for the most part. And all the pics are iPhone as I didn't feel like lugging my still camera around.
Highlights for me was RC-F Finally seeing the Charger Hellcat in the flesh, as well as the Charger 392 Scat Pack, and the ATS-V
The new Mustang looks REALLY nice in person. Ive been skeptical of the photos, but in person it has a strong presence, and the extreme angles/bulbous looks aren't as extreme.
Some very cool stuff, lots of meh. Either way, enjoy.

I'm trying to like the Lexus, but all I can think of is the Predator.

You know what I got from your LA Auto Show thread?
I need to jump to the iPhone. Jeez. Nice pics man.
I freaking love RC-F. I went to Glendale Lexus last week to check out the RC350 F-Sport. That thing looks SEXY even though it's just a regular RC. I think it was like $49k or something. Maybe I would take that over 335.

Great photos. Did the Supra/FT-1 have a full interior?

Does anyone else suspect that Lexus designers are constantly dropping Acid or eating Mushrooms?
Also, any word on the NSX? Or has it "gone with the wind?"
Sarlacc, those are some nice photos with just an iPhone

Oh those designers are at Acura, not Lexus!

NSX...I barely spent any time at Acura but I don't think it was there this year. I spent a split 2nd sitting in a TLX and I was bored to tears. Acura is pretty dead to me at this point.

I think Mazda did a great job with the MX-5. Can't wait to see one in the metal. I really want to see the FT-1 too. That thing is sick. Lexus... they are going the way of Acura as far as design goes. Just too bold. Thanks for sharing.

How can you call Lexus designs "too bold" and say the FT-1 looks sick? They are cut from the same wheel house.

We'll have to disagree. Lexus went from everyone calling them boring to stepping it up, and I like the direction they have taken. The grill is polarizing for sure. But you can no longer say they have no brand identity (acura anyone?)
The Ft-1 is cool and all...but A LOT of changes will have to be made for production and while it is a cool design. It doesn't knock my socks off and make me say "I WANT this car"
But thats why we all have our opinions

Love what Lexus is doing with their design overall.
Love FT-1. That's going to be our new Supra!

Oh. Sarlacc, what did you think of the 4C? I've heard good things about this car, and I am a huge 8c fan. I like the 4C from some angles, but I was wondering if it looks better in the metal than it does in a picture.

It's a good looking little coupe. Not as good as the 8C imo. But I'd be curious to see how this competes with the likes of the exige.
I'd try one just because it's different.

Great photos man! Nice post-production with the iPhone shots.
I totally agree on the new 'Stang. Everyone and their mother had one at SEMA this year so I got to see a bunch of them in the flesh. Much, much nicer in person.

They only had two NXs there, neither and sport. The be is probably, imo, Lexus' most polarizing design. I have to see it in better light to really judge. But it seemed nice.

Great pics. Not a whole lot I liked, though...just the Charger, Caddy, Vette, Porsche, Audi's, MX5, and the Morgans. I've seen a new Mustang in person...didn't change my opinion of it from pictures. I don't absolutely hate it, so maybe it will grow on me over time.
