Those are Enkei as well. Enkei NT03+M. Not that expensive. But, I don't think they come in the size I want and not as light as RPF1 or Weds. They look really good though.

I just realized that the center cap on those is why I like them more than the RPF1s ... I'd get the RPF1 ... Timeless wheel design.

Yeah, I love RPF1s. I should just get a silver set and powder coat it in obnoxious color in couple years. haha

Just changed the start up screen image. Just testing it with a pic I had.

Plugged the hole in the cabin that was connected to the intake sound tube. The suction sound is gone.

The fake whoosh sound is never my thing.
The engine sound is much better without the sound tube.

Glad to see you're not wasting any time and getting right into the thick of it.

At the same time, for you going to the track while I'm up here wishing Enterprise equipped their rentals with winter tires.

Keep on going. I (and I'm sure many others) live vicariously though you during these winter months.

I need to try to make it out to Willow Springs next time I'm in Cali. My in-laws live in Tehachapi, like 20 mins from the track.

Just got my Grimmspeed tow plate and got my license plates too. Installing it now at work.

And last night my wife was driving in front of me. She called and said your fog lights are ugly.

So, I just placed an order of white LED bulbs (H16 Osram 45W) for it along with white LEDs for the license plate lights. Don't really care about the other ones, so I just didn't touch them yet.

Just remove the front plate.

Front plate on the side is worse than Hellaflush/Stance.

By the way, just sold my Advan wheels on MS3 forum. A guy at San Jose bought them. Paypal payment has just been received. The shipping is only like 70 bucks.

Also, I talked to my buddy who hooked me up with the Enkei's, he said he can get anything. Apparently he knows someone who works for Enkei. Oh and he told me to tell you your car is gay

I did that for 5 years and got a ticket once. Ever since then, I've been running a tow plate.

Good thing I like the look of tow plate on the cars.

I'll ask them at the track. Don't think they won't allow it though. There were A LOT OF heavily modified cars in the Super Advanced group.

And I don't know what your friend drives, but please tell him that he's gay!

JS, I would go with the wedssports....I absolutely love them...

I bought a set 17x9 +10 (I thought I could make it work )...they weighed in around 15lbs...and I love how they look....

I have yet to see them on the TL, but I know they are popular on the Subaru WRX/EVO/FT86...

Car is looking good. Hope to join you at the track this Saturday.

I also agree on the no front license plate thing. I don't like front license plates, I haven't run one for maybe 20 years even though I've gotten at least one no front plate ticket in every car I've owned.

Yeah, the Wedssports are some high quality wheels. Looks super good and are super lightweight. I'm going to shop around for couple months to find what the best for me. A lot of 86 owners go with this set of wheels, so at least, I know how exactly these will look on my car.

Which car was that 17x9 +10 set for?

haha I HATE getting pulled over for anything. I tried my best not to get caught for anything and it's been working out well for me for the past 5 years or so.

Come out this Saturday! Let's hang out if you make it out there man.

Yeah, definitely. Looks so sexy with wheels and drop.

Can't wait to start modding. There's like millions of parts. I'm gonna go crazy as more parts get released for the car. Too many choices actually give me stress on making the decision.

same here... until 3 weeks ago, got a ticket for tint and front plate ON THE FREEWAY.
zip tied the front plate, removed the tint and got inspected. I told the CHP who inspected the car that you guys r out of your mind if you think i am going to drill holes on my bumper.

Now front plate is gone again and tint is back

I respect CHP but they can kiss my ass

How do you like the MPG on this BRZ?
Morgan was telling me it's somewhere same as the CL since you force the car way more to move but...

Do you have any calculations yet?

Yes.

1st tank: 330 miles with 10.5 gallon - 31.42 mpg (70 highway/30 city)
2nd tank: 300 miles with 10.5 gallon - 28.57 mpg (60 highway/40 city)
3rd tank: 270 miles with 10.8 gallon -25 mpg (60 highway/30 city/10 track : 70 minutes worth of driving like a crazy ape)
4th tank: 270 miles with 11.2 gallon - 24.1 mpg (50 highway/50 city)

It's not bad I guess. I drive like a crazy person these days. It's just so fun.

Didn't even look at the MPG rating before getting the car since I only drive 7-8k per year.

Went to my first local 86 meet last night. There were like 20-25 FRS/BRZs. 3 of them were supercharged and 1 was turbocharged.

The turbocharged one lives like 5 mins away from my house, so we drove to the meet together.

That car was FAST. Just slingshotted out from any speed. I think he said he's making about 280 or 290 whp at 12 psi on the crappy basemap that came with the kit. He's going to get it tuned pretty soon. It's a FullBlown turbo kit.

Anyway, I should have taken some pics at the meet, but it was so cold last night like 50s.
