I wish I knew how to code. That would save a lot of time & money.

I need crowdfunding for my mods.

It's subtle and normally not noticed. They match the car's paint and M-Sport package well.

TBH, I'd love an M car, lol.

Update! Now FBO minus DP

It's been a while since I've updated this thread, but I haven't done too much since my last post...until today.

Mods I've had for a while which aren't pictured:

-JB4 (Burger Motorsports)
-Goodridge SS brake lines with Motul brake fluid
-Go Fast Bits DV+ Performance Diverter Valve
-HPB 240 Watt Total Output H8 BMW Cree LED Angel Eyes

New left kidney grille:

Color matched front bumper reflectors:

Driver's upper grab handle sunglass holder (These don't come with one from the factory):

Mishimoto FMIC (top vs. stock on bottom):

One thing I refrained from adding was a catless downpipe. Everyone who has them says they make the car smelly and loud. I'm leaving about 25whp on the table without the DP's, so I'm tempted to add them, but on top of the noise + smell, they cause CEL's (which I can clear via the JB4, and they're also not smog compliant here in CA.

Next on the list is a JB4 BEF (back end flash) to sync all my bolt-ons. We'll see if I bite the bullet and add the DP. Even without it, though, I finally have my FMIC and proper brake fluid, which means I'm track finally ready.

I have over 65K on the clock, and not a single trip to the dealership for any issues yet.

Have you noticed improvements with the new intercooler? Spool time, less heatsoak, etc?

Great update, I hear JB4 is a must have with the 335i!

Let's do it! Buttonwillow is so far, though. 168mi one way. Willow Springs is 113mi.

So my dash shows the oil temp vs. coolant temp. In normal driving, it used to take over 20 minutes to get oil up to normal operating temperature (~ 240°). With the A/M FMIC, it takes over 30 minutes!

I can't address the heatsoak issue until I hit the track. These cars are known for the trans overheating and sending the car into limp mode.

During the FMIC install, I found a minor leak in the radiator

Maybe a new radiator will help keep the temps down.

It doesn't feel far when you cruise together with like 10 friends. Let's do it hyung. Willow Spring has terrible runoffs. Ask me how I know. Buttonwillow is so much safer.

Here's a better solution. Sell your 335 and pick up a E90 M3. Problem solved.

There are a couple guys with E90's who have upgraded FMIC's and gotten performance radiators. They literally drive around with one kidney grille masking taped off, because their cars can never reach safe operating temperature. So I'll probably just get a regular replacement, since I don't live at the track.
