I like it! I would buy a TSX with V6 over the 4th gen now- especially if it comes out in AWD. It's about the same length as our 3rd gen and that's important for my garage situation.

They should have done that long ago.

But still, the interior isn't as well-appointed as the TL's.

well they are slowly trying to get the TSX into the IS category and then market the TL into the GS category and the RL into the LS category. They realize that many young kids are driving the TL and modding them out and not really appealing to the older crowd as much. They are trying to push us into favoring the TSX and if you ask me, the TSX looks better than the current TL 100:1. I guarantee more and more of us are going to be going to TSX sooner than one might think.

I think its just pointless to drop a v6 into TSX, It will eat TL's sales, its about same size as 3G TL. Acura is not going to survive like that, they need a V8 ASAP for flagship model and TL type-S, only 2 V6's (its all over in its lineup TL, MDX, RL and now TSX) are not going to benifit them and bring more customers into their showroom. V6 into base model and V8 in type-S TL, (option in MDX and standard in RL).

V6 should be in TSX type-S with 6MT. IMO

Look at Lexus for example, Toyota started after Honda, they are way ahead now.

If the 4G TL weren't so damn ugly, I don't think Acura should worry about the V6 TSX eating into the TL's sales. A V6 TSX should cost more than a base TL, or at least around the same. Fully loaded Corollas and Civics usually cost more than base 4 cyl Camrys and Accords, but the latter 2 don't seem to have any problems selling.

I'd buy one. In fact, in a year or two when I'm ready to get rid of my 04, I'll be looking at them for sure. I thought about moving up to a TL, but now that the V6 is being offered, there's not much reason to. Plus with this redesign, the 4G TL is not a very good looking car, and it's too big.

It doesn't have to. It costs less and is the entry vehicle in the lineup. If they gave it everything the TL had, well, there'd be even more whining about cannibalization of the TL.

I'm assuming they're reusing the J35 from the RL and TL-S in there? That's definitely a step in the right direction - now, onto the hideous grille. Why can't they just stick an "A" emblem on the Euro Accord grille and call it a day?

Either way, it still won't matter to me. As long as they continue to utilize that dumb EPS system which numbs steering feel, 1G TSX > 2G TSX in my eyes.
