2006 Acura TL hp decreased from 270 to 258??
As the title said, I checked autos.yahoo.com and found it werid.

Edmunds has the same thing. Sounds interesting, maybe more restrictive exhaust for emissions control or something. Unless they over-rated it before and decided to have a reality check.

isn't it just the new SAE horspower ratings mehtod? No change in power just in the number (aka was overrated).

Correct. They didn't change the car its just that now all cars are rated by SAE standards so no one can overrate their numbers
