I couldn't believe that when I saw it for the first time...
Also I was surprised at how small the calipers were.
I wonder how many people buy one and actually track it. I love the Elise though. I'm not sure I'd ever buy one, but still...

urusbrain, how long were you on a waiting list to get it?

A guy at AutoX got one the last day of our season. The thing was pretty sick on the track. Sweet ride!

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I have been driving it around enjoying it...

Starshield is the 3M like clear bra that the dealer puts on. It even has a embossed Lotus logo on it.

I put a deposit down 2 years ago for 2, but the guy who I put it down with quit, and they only let me buy 1.

I will actually track the car one day. When I get rid of my race car. heh.

Yeah I have met Joe from prototype racing. Cool guy, gave me a ride in the supercharged one. Damn fast, but for still doesn't feel like the torque in the Viper that I get to drive. Supercharged 555rwhp/585ft-lbs.

Would like to see your beautiful new Lotus parked next to another car to better comprehend its size. Is it bigger / smaller than a Mini? How big is a H2 or Suburban next to it?!

Connections, aye?? I might ask you about that later.

I'll be looking to buy around Memorial Day, so hopefully there will be some good deals going on at the time. I'm hoping to get a TSX 6MT/Navi for about 27 flat (thats my goal).

teg, who uses 'aye' from time to time. Damn Canadian cousins.

You will fit. I let my a friend who races in SCCA, Dr. Wayne Graham sit in it... he's your size... It was a PIA to get in the car, and get out of it, but in it... he loved it... probably would be easier without the hardtop on.
