the cl may be boring, but in most people's opinions it is not ugly....also, w/a H&R drop, non-ghetto 18s, and tint, the cl-S will actually turn quite a few headz & receive mad compliments from peeps

 

think it will just take a little time to get used to the new design, car has been growing on me. the rear looks good with the quad pipes .



i'm more interested in seeing the interior since the japan version is looking good.

 

That thing looks like a piece of shit with that ghetto-ass slanted trunk that looks like something heavy was dropped on the car just forward of the trunk lid and behind the rear window. Not to mention the same stupid wheels, ugly flared wheelwells, and 4x4 stance, now with an Altima look-alike style to the roofline.

Bleh.

They got the exhaust right but the taillights and bumper are ass.

 

I like the tailights better than the current Maxima.

 

i guess nissan is trying 2outdo the accord for the weirdest looking family sedan

 

It almost looks like an Audi A6 in this pick, if they would just cut that rear off a little bit.

man why does nissan gotta base a cool car like the Maxima on the Z's look. I know i'm probably the only dude on this board who hates the looks of the new Z but the fender flares are just weird to me. then the rearend is so boogered up

And yes, the rear end on this car is way too busy. The Saturn has a better looking backside.

dude most all of the members here are totally open-minded, some even dont own acuras (GASP!), and when a car discussion comes up, we dont lie to ourselves, we give our honest opinions. I think that car is fuking hideous...that doesnt mean that i think ALL nissans are shit (I actually really like the current maximas).

 

i like the almost all of infiniti's lineup, yes even the i35, but i'm not 2 crazy abt nissan....

 

They all do look the same now: G35 Sedan, G35 Coupe, Altima, 350Z, and now...The new Maxima...

Question is, how much of the 3.5 will they put into, my guess is 260HP like the G35 Sedan.

 

eeerrr....why is Lexus BETTER than Acura? Granted, they have a somewhat more varied product line but I still consider them on the same level...

I guess the creative ideas at nissan are going down hill. It looks like a recycled Altima with a fugly azz lip spoiler.

 

Speak for yourself, buddy, I respect Nissan products as well as any product that represents good performance value for the buck. I don't bash until I've actually driven the car and then only after someone claims something about the car I clearly didn't experience.

Acura service (in general) and Acura Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y is .. I consider... MUCH MUCH lower than Lexus... peace out.
