2004 MDX isn't that slow

I thought that the 2004-2006 MDX's weren't that fast. I'd driven my mom's 04 MDX and thought it was pretty sluggish and felt heavy and trucklike.

This morning this jerk in a 2004 MDX was driving erraticly in traffic. So, I was right next to the MDX at the stoplight. I wanted to see if this MDX was really that fast. So, of course in my 04 TSX from a deadstop I could see this guy driving fast, it isn't a slow SUV by any means. I kept up with it 0-60 I couldn't beat the MDX cause I was only up to the MDX's front right tire. The speed limit was 65, but it was pretty surprising.

I don't know what to think that the TSX is pretty good car for a 4 cylinder for acceleration or the 04 MDX with a 253hp V6 is pretty slow for a V6 and could barely beat a 200 hp TSX? Does anyone know what the new SAE hp figures are for the 04-05 TSX? Anyways, I backed down after 65 because there were cops, but the MDX just kept driving probably 80mph.

I have driven both cars.

Having that said, they're both slow as hell.

Probably, i'm too lazy to look it up, but i think the MDX is closer to 8's 0-60. The new one isn't all that fast either. A Lexus RX350 will leave it at a stoplight.
