2004 GTO for 289 a month

My local dealer is advertising this 48-Month lease deal on the leftover 2004’s.
I don’t know what the fine print says, but that’s a hell of a deal.

Their last offer was an attempt to sell them outright at 28,500

The GTO is a huge sales disaster. Not surprised they are trying to give them away late in the year (statistically the lowest sales period of the year).

I’m almost hoping the 400HP 2005 models fail as well.
It would be a nice used ride to pick up in 2-3 years for 15-20-grand.

For a Pontiac, it's a pretty decent car. Great power, good ergonomics and a strong Blaupunkt system. While I wouldnt pay its $33k sticker, $28k is tempting; particularly if I can get the 6.0L 400hp V8 2005 model.

I'm sure they will hype the '05 model as well. And they won't budge off MSRP. Then come October and they've only sold 60% of what they projected and have tons still sitting on the lot they'll go through this cycle again. Only to kill off the model after MY'06.

Think that is a deal?

This guy on another board I belong to just picked up a lease on an 04 GTO for ZERO down and $124/mo.

http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/sho...4&page=1&pp=15

Can't beat that!

That just doesn’t seem possible, but hey…it’s on the Internet so it’s gotta be true right ???

Well he is a very long time and respected member of the board. Also, a few poeple that live near him are going to go check the car out this week and take a test drive.

He got Zero down becasue the down payment of over $2-$3k was covered by his GM card where he had money saved up toward a new vehicle.

It's possible if there's only a 5,000 mile/year allowance.

Look araound and you'll find some dealers sell 'em for close to $26.5K. I'm hoping the '05's are just as big a flop. A boring looking 400 hp coupe would suit me just fine for that price. Besides, the interior is actually nicer than the one in the CTS-V.

Hmm...that almost sounds too good to be true. Maybe it's time to unload my TSX and get a GTO.

Damn think of all those people who paid well over MSRP when it first came out. The GTO might have as worse resale value as the CL in a few years.

Maybe.

The '05 looks a lot better than the '04 w/ the appearance package. Click on the sound clip of the exhaust.
GTO
Will have Duals like the CLS

CLS has "fake" duals... Only one cat.

Well, fake from the sense that true dual exhausts have two cats...

I just meant from an appearance stand point, the GTO w/ the appearance package will have an exhaust set up like the CLS

At that price I would consider one.

Yea plus they gave him a crackhead deal on his trade-in. He bought his GTP about 10 months ago used for 17k, they gave him 16.5. I guess they had a lot of them on the lot and were willing to deal.

Shit for that price, I should cancel my order for the 05 GT and buy one of those. I can put a real nice H/C package in and it will still be cheaper.
