2000-2001 Infiniti I30t
My significant other is in the market for a new (new to her anyway) car.
between $14,000 and $15,000 to spend.
She is coming from a Infiniti G20t (now totaled) and loved it.
So I thought that the I30t would be a great fit for her if she loved her G20t, little bigger, little faster, a few more ammenities. The t (Touring Edition) gets you Xenons, bigger wheels and a sportier suspension, as opposed to just a regular I30.
I have heard some good things about this car, powertrain especially.
Other cars of honorable mention are:
2000-2001 Acura TL (lower milage TL's are just a little out of range)
2001-2002 Nissan Maxima - Loaded (basically the same car as an I30)
Anyone have any thoughts on the I30t or maybe some other cars I may have over-looked that would be a good fit?
I tested the I30t many times before and almost got it too, but ended up with my CL, and I think its a great car, just would like the opinions of some of you other auto gurus out there.
Thanks!

I've had 3 maximas & loved them all. Plenty of power, no mechanical worries, built in JPN.
The service I get with my Infiniti is beyond excellent.
I say go for it.

I have a Maxima also. Great cars. I love my car with a passion. I however would go with a TL or I30T based on service alone. Plus the slightly more mature design, or classy design I should say.
An I30T is basically just a Maxima, but it has a lot of creature comforts you dont get in the Max.(which you probably already knew)

You're in MN, so it shouldn't be a problem... but I thought I'd mention that Maximas are just as prone if not more prone to having their HIDs stolen just like TLs.
I say shop around for the Maxima and I30 and buy based on price/mileage since they're essentially the same car.

But thanks for the heads up.
I basically decided that a I30 would just be better than a Maxima for a few reasons:
1) Heated leather seats is a must here.
2) Xenons are a must ("I want the same pretty lights you have..."
![Roll Eyes](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
3) There are a LOT of used I30's to be had around here for some really good prices.
4) With those options, the Maximas are usually the same price. I figure I MIGHT have a better chance of unloading it 3 years down the road for the price I am looking for with the Infiniti name on it. But I could be totally wrong on that.
More feedback would be appreciated if anyone has any!
Thanks for the replys
