My 05 GT should be putting down 300 rwhp per what I have seen with people with the exact same mods. Haven't taken my to the track yet, nor the dyno. I would guess my car as it sits is a low 13s car trapping 105-108. The 05 GT's vary quite a bit in trap speeds it seems.

he ran the Titan full-drag Supra recently... here is a quote from him from one of the other boards, regarding this race:

He won by a car and a half. I ran a 8.7@169 in 120 degree trackside temperature. Remember the Titan car is liquid to air intercooled and weighs 700 lbs less than mine. I drove it from the Marriot in downtown St Louis to Gateway, put the top back on, switched tires at the track, ran an 8 second pass, then drove it back to downtown St Louis. I guess an 8.7 on radials doesn't look fast with a 1.65 short time while bouncing off the rev limiter all of second gear. I did cut a .026 Pro Tree, as usual. I'm gonna miss my car.
and also, the block is filled with concrete.

300 to the wheels????? You must have a factory freak. My friend has an 05 and baselined around 270 to the wheels.
This dyno clearly shows that the New mustang is not making 300 to the wheels like you say. Not even a twin turbo kit from Ultimate racing gets it real far, granted its on low boost. My LS1 Trans Am is making over 400 to the wheels on heads and cam with bolt ons. I havent even touched the bottom end yet.

I see you have mods. Unless you did internals, i cant see you getting o much over 300 with bolt ons.

The new '05 Mustang GT can get upto 300WHP with just a tune and intake.

And I have an C&L intake, Predator Tune, and Off Road X-pipe. The intake and tune is worth 25-30 dyno proven rwhp alone. My Off road X should have netted me 10-15 rwhp. Again, I haven't dynoed my car, so I can't tell what exactly it is putting down to the wheels. I am just judging from what others with the same mods and exact same canned 93 octane tune have put down on a dynojet.

If I wanted to, I could run 500 rwhp on the stock internals. For how long, I can't tell you. I do know that there are quite a few Vorteched, Procharged, and Saleen Supercharged 05s running over 430 rwhp reliably. I called a tuner last week regarding CNC P&P'ed heads/cams and he stated it should put me around 380ish rwhp with a good tune. The cam specs were way too agressive for my tastes, so I don't think I will go that route. The 05 GT's respond amazingly well to simple bolt ons.

i feel you on the bolt ons, My LS1 is making over 400whp on a mild setup. With a lid, headers, off road Y, catback and a tune i made 361 to the wheels. I havent re-dynoed and tuned it yet, because the car is getting suspension work done. I should be putting down 430-60 around there. Soon I'm going with a forged 383 stroker motor, with a 200 shot. I should be making over 500(close to 550) whp all motor and about 700+ horses on nitrous. The only thing i can se being a problem with your car is the bottom end. It uses the same crank as that last gen 4.6 which was notorious for spinning bearings and going boom. Good luck with your car, its a sweet one. Your stock exhaust sounds sick, i cant imagine what it would sound like without the cats with that ORX pipe.

I've got a question, don't know if you can help me. My friend has an LS1 WS6 with a comp cam (dont know specs) and ported/polished stock heads. He basically has all the supporting mods and nitrous on top of that. He had his engine built and the guy whom did that ported his heads. He really didn't put down spectacular numbers, which I attribute to the stock heads. Would he gain a decent amount of power with some good heads?
