1/4 Mile times of my TL
Well just got back from the track and I ran what I wanted to. I only used a 50 Shot of NOS and not 70!! I wanted to know if I could break 13's with a 50 Shot which I did....Man do I have to work on my reaction time!! I'm going back in a couple of weeks, because I got my Apexi VTec controller today but didn't have time to install it.
I'm car #34 the times on the left.
Both runs were with NOS and TCS on with Nitto Drag tires.
BTW Car # 33 was a Cyclone, you should have seen his face when a family 4door car beat him

Hmmmm...are you not hitting the NOS out of the hole? Your 60 foots aren't very good at with drag. We've got a couple 96 Max owners with automatic, y-pipes, catback, intake and a 40 shot of NOS hitting 14.0s with 2.1 60 foots.
BTW, reaction time has absolutely nothing to do with your 1/4 mile time. The moment your car starts rolling is when the car starts getting timed. You could sit there for 5 minutes after the tree has been light off, you;ll still run a 14.0.

Thanx guys,
That's nice but come down to Hawaii and run those times! BTW it's the first time I ever ran at the track so I'm sorry that my times don't impress you! It'll still beat your MAX's

I wasn't knocking your ride. I was just surprised at how slow your car is off the line with drag radials. 1.9 60 foots is what you should be pulling, atleast, with drag radials regardless of track. If cut a few tenths off your 60 foot, your TL would be in the mid 13s.
The syclone you ran sounds like either it was out of tune or the driver didn't stall out the converter. A bonestock Syclone can easily pull ultra low 14s.

I think that you would get better drag times by taking your traction control off....in order to take advantage of the slicks, Nitto street ones, right?, you have to power brake and launch at like 3000...I think that's the max the torque converter can handle and just stomp the accelerator at the 2nd yellow...with slicks you should be below 2.0 60ft times...or don't even bother with them...BTW, did you lower the tire pressure to like 19psi? Remember you low tire pressure is also key for grip.
