I am sorry but 335i dynos at 278whp and 288lb-ft of torque stock, which is more than that 07 6spd Z can put down

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...highlight=dyno

and how about 375lb-ft and 345whp with just exhaust and ECU upgrade?

if that is the case, then 350z should compare with E46 M3. Both use na engine but 350z's is about 0.3 larger by volume (3.5 liter vs 3.2 liter M3) yet still makes less power.

A stock E46 M3 puts down 278.2whp and 235.3wtq. vs larger Z engine at 264.8 hp and 231 tq

....unlike the S54, the likelihood of engine failure in the Z is likely minimal. Z output looks good.

I have no idea how you can compare a 335i to a 350Z. Someone shopping for a 335i will not cross shop these two.
