If the car did not have clear bra and the bumper cover cost a bunch and paint were not expensive I'd replace the bumper cover.

It is shooting air directly to the cai.

I agree, don't like it.

Nice! Love the color and the car. Was your CL-S a 6 speed or auto?

That's a pretty popular mod on the 350Zs. Seen it before, not a fan, but it could be worse, like twin holes lol.

Let me know if you ever want to meet up at Firebird or Speedworld and take it donw the strip. I'd love to run side by side in my Accord and see how close it would be. I'm sure you'd beat me but nonetheless it would be fun.

congrats on the Z, nice color... I just let mine go for an RDX.

And atleast the front bumper inlet has a function... as opposed to walmart hood scoops and vents for decoration (there's alot of those down here).

I like the hole. It looks alright and best of all, it's functional. Function>form. (Maybe just get black screws instead of silver).

First of all he lives in Arizona where it hardly ever rains, but even when it does, the rain isn't going to saturate the filter enough to cause any issues. You need to submerge a filter in water to cause hydrolock, but it will get dirtier being in front of an opening like that. My V2 filter used to sit directly in front of the fog light vent opening until I shortened the intake so the filter sits just above it. Keeps it much cleaner.

^ I was about to say that, thanks.

The cl had a freak accident, impossible to occur but did. I am not going into it in the open, it is just what it is. The perfectly running newly engined car is dead, going to Nspec in Houston and now I have this Z.

My main advise is don't heavily mod a car and expect to get one tenth of one percent of your money from insurance.

15k in reciepts added 800.00 to my payout.

Come clean? Do I owe you something?

I wrecked my car, it was replaced.

End of story.

I picked it up today. Here are the springs it has.

The rear shocks appear to be oem. It rides firm but good. Are these springs ok? I never heard of Espelir.

If they are ok what shocks should I get for them?

Not excited just saying I choose to keep the incident to myself.

Make up a story, I'm sure it will be better than what happened.

I believe I have the right to say what I choose about what happened to me online.

I've heard of Espelir springs before. There's a few Accord guys that have ran them. From what I remember they were a decent spring, no reason to get rid of them if you like the ride/look.

I would personally invest in some Konis. That's the route I'm going with mine someday in the future.

Since when did you own a Benz? jk

I like that mount for the V1 a lot but I don't feel comfortable routing wire through the top.
Are those mounts made just for V1s? or are there ones for Escorts?

I have run the hardwire that way for my last 5 daily drivers. No issues.

Yes they make them for Escorts. Make sure your car has a boom between the window & mirror. I originally bought the kit for the Acura CLs and it would not fit.

Espelir is well-known in Japan. If you looked at JGTC (Japanese Grand Touring Championship or something like that), most of those cars are running Espelir suspension/exhaust/sponsored by them/etc etc......
I'd say keep the springs!
