Hey guys I was thinking about getting an 01-02 Audi s4 as my second car and modding it up. I wanted to know if anyone knows some good mods to do on this car?, and if this is a reliable car to mod up?, and where I can get some good advice for modding this car?

Im not too good with the b5 S4 but i know when i was shopping the turbos were known to blow. But there are nice upgrades for the car. I also want to say that the 02 had upgraded turbos that were better than 01 models. But double check on that.

Many others i think that offer stuff for the car too. But research the car and make sure its somthing you can take care of.

With a little bit of money you can make one of those insanely fast. They're a 2.7L bi-turbo not to mention AWD. I'm pretty sure that the stock turbos are K03's, which is the same as that in the 1.8 a4. You can upgrade that to a k04 and have huge gains. My friend upgraded to a k04 in his A4 and is at about 200 whp and 250 wtq. His car is incredibly fun to be in when he's whipping the shit out of it. I could only imagine what the S4 would be like

It is my understanding you can mod these things to death, but realiability may become a big issue.

I had the A6 with the S4 bi-turbo engine in it. It's a beast stock, but you can mod it to an insanely fast ride. The K03's are very unreliable, upgrading to the K04 would be a great move, but they will cost a fortune. Do that and get the APR chip and you will be in heaven...

If you're going to track it, definitely plan on a brake upgrade. Audis are notorious for warping/destroying brake rotors under hard use.
