KD, loving the black s13. Reading through your build thread makes me miss my '93 more and more. I prefer the front of the 240sx over the silvia's, always have. Keep up the good work and let's see those high res pics!

I plan on setting the RPM switch at about 500rpm below rev cutoff. I'd hate for the motor to cut the fuel and have a super lean condition along with a cylinder full of nitrous. Would make a very good manifold remover. That strut bar really didn't make any noticeable difference, but I thought it looked cool. lol

Wow,it's been quite a while since I've been here in Azine. Here's whats happened over the past few years.
The S13 was coming along so nicely. I bought new wheels, Enkei RP03s, I had replaced the .86 turbo back housing with a .63 to decrease spool time and also bought a DOC turbo manifold which was absolutely AWESOME!!! HKS BOV, ran a Greddy catch can, AN fittings, stainless hose, and... the greatest mistake of all-time in my life, I powder coated my valve cover a BEAUTIFUL candy-apple red.
What happened was...
My powder coater failed to mention he used a glass media to strip the old paint off of the valve cover. Two weeks after I had everything put together I hear the dreaded knocking rod. My motor was TOAST. All 4 bearings spun, piston walls scarred, cams trashed. Completely FUBAR.
Out came the motor and I parted out the S13. I hated to see it die such a horrible death. I felt like I had lost a friend. It was awful. With a very bad taste in my mouth I decided I was going to take a break from cars so I bought this...
... and I joined the US Army as an active-duty Infantryman (11B).
So once my basic training was over, I decided I'd like to have a car and with the 16 weeks of pay checks in my account, I bought my sister-in-laws S14!
So I still am in the 240SX game, haha! It's like some sort of chronic automotive disease, I can't seem to get away from S-chassis.I plan on installing some coilovers, new paint, and maybe upgrade the audio this time. It will be a while before I feel like playing with a turbo on this car. It has a perfectly good KA and ice-cold AC and is very smooth/quiet for a 240SX. Oh well, thought I'd drop by and say what's up to the best automotive web-site ever.
