shadow: nice van! Ours is prior Gen, I had the mud flaps painted to match as well as the windshield washer nozzles. Yours definitely has more presence, very nice!
Sadly, no. Beggars can't be choosers, but I'd want mine to be blue with the white stripes
yeah, 100%, also mine would be the 2nd Gen, GTS trim. I remember watching the Oreca Vipers with their big yellow lights in the bumper and the white red and blue livery, super cool!
Not super recent but I forgot I did this fake drone video with a 360 camera +long-ass selfie stick on a birding outing looking for owls in interior British Columbia

My dad has a 2012 Carrera S (991.1) with the PDK. Fantastic transmission, can’t go wrong with either and the S is a nice upgrade. Does it have ppf on it? Are you planning any road trips? I would have picked a 991.1 over a 991.2 as well, that NA engine is great!
fuuuuuuuuck that thing sure is purdy. So much want from my end. I hope to join all of you passionate Porsche owners in another 2-3 years when I can get my daughter into a booster seat vs her current giant ass car seat.
Nothing wrong with PDK, it's a magical transmission. I've also toyed with the idea of going PDK if/when I buy one just for the ease of driving. Manual trans + traffic blows.

Full ppf on the front, found the receipt from 2022 so relatively new. It has one minor, minor ding but otherwise looks great. Heading to the dragon in Oct with some of the AZ crew.
Oh, I debated on the 991.2 because I liked the rear better but the last NA seemed like the move; still may swap the rear bumper and taillights to modernize it a bit.

Get it, jam the car seat back there, plenty of room 🤣

Alas, still no invite for me.

I think our definitions of "plenty of room" are very different lol.

Applied some wipe on / wipe off ceramic coating .. car pops.
One of these days I will get the roof & bumpers re-painted - add it to "the list" .
Cayenne has been great - little oil consumption while towing long distances but this thing doesn't care - it just keeps trucking.
I still need to find some motivation to actually make this thing feel nice to drive - I've had control arms / bushings waiting on my rack for months now.
Bought this '07 back in 2017 with 60k on the clock. Now at 116k, and I still love it.
The plan is to DD it as long as I can w/regular maintenance. I'm thinking new struts and shocks are next. We'll see.
Have been looking at a lot of 2010 TSX V6's online as of late, but most are pretty high mileage, and I don't really like the "beak" facia. Plus, prolly wanna get into a RWD, once the TL's done (c. 2030?).
Thing is, I don't want a "rolling iPhone" that's scraping my data, nor do I want a ride with the "cylinder deactivation," etc. I don't consider myself a Luddite, but I just wanna DRIVE.
Saw a pretty nicely kept 3G Type-S in the parking lot today.
It was in Carbon Bronze Pearl, which is better than the Alabaster Silver Metallic. Still, would've loved to see one in Kinetic Blue Pearl or Moroccan Red Pearl.
