Volvo was ranked dead last in reliability and by a pretty wide margin. Might be a reason they're giving them away for so cheap.

No doubt. I wouldn't buy one. I am sure others would.

I was about to post this. But, if you are not keeping it long-term, it may be okay.

I have no interest in a station wagon but the S60 sedan is a beauty for sure!

Nope, I don't have time to waste at the dealer for unexpected problems.

If you're looking for a car, maybe you can get $20K off of a brand new 2014 Acura TL

https://www.acuraofserramonte.com/ne...5fad18a201.htm

Or a brand new 2015 Acura TLX

https://www.acuraofserramonte.com/ne...019e02d3b5.htm

Or brand new 2016 TLX

I wood.
Oh wait.
I did.

In all fairness I shot from the hip...wasn't even sure what the newer wagon line up were called...I googled it, first one that popped up on cargurus was this black ember metallic with beechwood interior drive-e 2.0t that gets 37mpg highway. Shittt...fell in love with the look, wifey loved it...bought it that day for substantially cheaper than MSRP and lightly used with 63K miles. I've put about 3000 miles on it personally and I can tell you I love the thing.

Only issues I've had thus far are...there's a weird thud, seems to be when AC is running, coming from the rear lower part of the car. I could throw it on a lift and figure it out, but it doesn't seem to affect anything. Passenger keyless handle wasn't working...1 torx screw and some dielectric grease on the contacts and that was sorted. Other than that, lowered it on H&R sport springs, bought pretty much every accessory for it and I am a happy camper.

This is the biggest reason we didn't buy a Volvo.

Me too, unfortunately they are the only ones that hold their value incredibly well.

Oddly the sedans do nothing for me...
but that Polestar wagon is hot shit.
But at that pricepoint I might as well have kept my Caddy.

Not going to say if the car is good or not... but $20k off on a 2 MY old car, brand new car, is not any real discount at all.... because realistically, that is how much the car is worth now... new or not.

yea, this doesn't seem like something out of the ordinary, lots of deals out there on '18's for multiple manufacturers

Looking at the 2019 S60, the T5 are all FWD, but T6 & T8 are AWD.

Well you asked.
Nope! I want reliability in a daily driver which is why I drive cars like a Toyota, Honda, Acura, etc. The Toyota and Honda are cars I've owned from new for 15+ years. We'll see how the Acura does.

The T5 and T6 might be AWD sometimes.
