WTB: New/used Garrett ACE 250 Metal Detector
My 14-year-old son wants to get into metal detecting, but he's young and I don't want to spend a ton of money on a high-end detector. I've been told the Garrett ACE 250 is a good entry-level model. I still don't want to pay $200+ on something he'll use a few times and lose interest in... Does anyone have one of these laying around that they're not using and wants to get rid of? Before everyone posts links to Dick's Sporting Goods and Sports Authority and Ebay, I have looked and researched, I know what they go for new, but I'd rather pay a little less for something use but in good condition.
