i was just asking how the tach and speedo work- is there a standard centermount needle that wraps around the display in the center of the guages?

Or has Acura harnassed a small magic demon that actually runs the needle around the outside of the gauge? Can you tell with your car-free cluster or be willing to tear it open in the name of science, while risking the unleashing of Acura's cluster-demons?
