CAR PARTS FOR SALE FORUM: SINCE THE SEARCH FUNCTION HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN THIS FORUM, IT FOLLOWS THAT POSTING ONLY ONE ITEM PER THREAD WOULD ALLOW THE SEARCH SYSTEM TO WORK AT AN OPTIMUM CAPACITY, SO THE THREAD LIMIT HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR THIS FORUM ONLY.

Because of this and the subsequent increase in the number of threads created, changes to original posting data cannot be made on a routine basis so please do not request any changes be made except in unusual circumstances. If you made a mistake and didn't catch it in the 15 minute editing period, you will have to live with it. Also, do not request updates for price changes, title changes, or other routine changes; post them in the thread so readers will see them.

ONLY ONE (1) OPEN FOR SALE OR TRADE THREAD, WITH A LIMIT OF ONE CAR PER THREAD, WILL BE ALLOWED. ONE "WTB" THREAD MAY ALSO BE POSTED.

ONLY ACURA AND HONDA VEHICLES MAY BE LISTED IN THE MEMBERS CARS FOR SALE FORUM.

EXCEPTION: MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN REGISTERED FOR MORE THAN ONE (1) YEAR AND HAVE MORE THAN 500 POSTS MAY POST ANY MAKE VEHICLE

If you post a NEW thread in the Non-Automotive Sales Forum or the Cars For Sale forum, you must close enough threads so that only two will remain in the Non-Automotive Sales Forum and one will remain in the Cars For Sale forum. If you don't do this, I will select enough threads to bring the total down to conform with the two thread limit rule, so, if you see that your threads have been closed, you will understand why.

In certain cases I may contact you and give you the option of selecting which threads are to be closed, but this will not happen often due to the workload involved.

This will help you guys keep your threads on the first page longer by reducing the number of threads each individual member can post or bump.

Which reminds me, this makes the 3 bump rule obsolete so that thread has been closed.

Will a thread closed under this system be eligible to reopen as items in other threads sell & are closed?

I have requested closure of my excess threads.

Yes, but you can also close some extra threads and combine the items still for sale in a new thread, as long as this keeps you at or below the 2 thread maximum.

I will probably allow members I like to post one FREE thread which will not count towards the two thread limit.
