I have a set of acura cl type-s rims for sale. The rims are in PERFECT CONDITION (no dings, dents, chips, or rubs) and the tires only have approx. 2,500 miles on them (over 95% tread remaining). They were replaced by 19 inch rims shortly after purchasing my CL. I live in Huntington Beach CA. The price is $800 plus shipping (very firm). uhhh, arent the CL and TL type S rims the same???? except the TL rims are narrower??? who would want the TL rims anyhow if that is the case? i know evey TL-S ive ever seen has the same rims as i do on my 2002 CL-S

 

They are different...Look closer...I don't like how the CL-S wheels have no lip and each spoke gets thinner as it goes toward the outside...See this thread.. http://www.acura-legend.com/vbulleti...&highlight=tls I(Matt Whelan) posted two pics comparing the wheels...You will see the difference...I just see more of a luxury/updated look in the TL-S rims and the CL-S rims give a "98 Accord" coupe impression....

I'm kinda confused. I don't mean to be rude, but WTF are you talking about The CL-S and the TL-S Rims are exactly the same ones.

take a look, here's the pic. The TLS rims maintain a constant spoke idth whereas the CLS rims taper when they hit the edge of the rim. Otherwise, the kip in te TLS rim is hardly noticable. the reason being is the top part of the spoke, where it's polished is the same size, bu the part below it, is MUCh thicker on the CLS rims than on the TLS, prolly saves weight.. Less metal, maybe cheaper quality rims?
