Staggered Gun Metal 18" Volk TE37's

Up for sale is my set of Bronze Volk racing TE-37's. I'm selling them to free up some cash, plus they are just taking up space right now since I don't actually own a car anymore.

Specs:
Bolt Pattern 5x114.3 (Honda/Acura...)
Front: 18x7.5 +40 offset
Rear: 18x8.5 +40 offset

Price: $1100.00 + Shipping OBO

Condition = good/fair, the previous owner of these rims did a shoddy job of powder coating them. The pictures show their true condition.

Bends = One of the rear wheels has a small bend on it which is shown in the first picture.

A few weeks ago i bought some wheels from a member here under the screen name death. In his for sale description he mentions one of the wheels has a bend in it. I said fine. for the asking price its still worth it. so i bought them.

That one wheel that supposedly had the bend in it was the rear wheel. i sent that thing to get fixed and guess what. it didn't have one or two bends in it. IT HAD 6 BENDS IN THAT ONE WHEEL ALONE!

I paid $150 to get that one wheel fixed. Little did i know that the trouble didn't end there.

At this point i assumed the sellers description was accurate and thought the other 3 wheels must be good. But out of curiosity i put them on a balancer before i had them sent off to be painted.

THE WHEELS LITERALLY HOP ON THE BALANCER! each wheel has multiple bends on it in the rear and their not even drivable. thats how bad the bends are. One rim has a gouche and nasty ass dent right in the center and someone tried to do a ****ty repair job. its embarrassing actually.

I asked to get a refund from the seller but he said "theres always a risk when you buy used."

Either he knew they were messed up or hes just not willing to give me a refund. either way i said a refund or 500 back considering the wheels are ****in garbage in the present condition now. They need to be fixed. resprayed. the centercaps suck.

Just a warning. he offered to give me $150 back which is BS. its gonna cost me 500-600 to get these things to be drivable and even more for the refinish.

Hes saying he never had em on his own ride. Hows he suppose to know? well hes the seller its his responsibility to correctly represent his item. i guess he wants to unload the problem on me now.

DONT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

Ive had 12 transactions on this website alone. I never screwed anyone and am dissapointed I'm being screwed now.

I already started the dispute on paypal. this sucks ass.

So far hes given me $185 back and is saying that's all hes giving. im asking him to pay me $500 to cover the repair on the 3 he said were good. THATS IT. NOTHERING MORE. so just man up OR take ur junk back.

You are being very resaonable about this, slowaccord. $500 to get the wheels drivable is absolutely fair. He didn't give proper indication of how messed up they were, so saying "there's always a risk" is basically saying "yup, I scammed you, you didn't read the fine print" and copping out.

I hope you get this resolved. Best of luck to you.

This has been resolved in the other forum, where slowaccord has been posting and keeping things up to date after he got me involved in this and didn't even have the courtesy to notify me.

This thread is closed and I'll be talking with slowaccord about this.

I am tired of people asking for help and then forgetting to let me know that progress has been made or the problem has been resolved.
