SOLD! For Sale: '01 CL Type S with Navigation (Mass)
Up for sale is my '01 CL Type-S Coupe with Navigation (Black with Parchment interior)
I am the original owner and only driver of this vehicle. I purchased it new and am an adult, non-smoking driver.
It has been meticulously cared-for, including a hand-wax every 2 months and weekly car washes.
The car currently has 120,000 easy miles, and it is ready to go another 150,000 miles without a hiccup! I know that the miles are high, but I loved driving this car and commute about 80 miles per day up RT93 into NH.
It has all the standard features you know:
260HP 3.2L VTEC TYPE-S Engine; 5-speed Automatic transmission with SportShift mode; Power Moonroof; Xenon HID Headlights; Digital Climate Control; Dual Heated Leather Seats with Driver’s Memory; Dual Chrome Exhausts; Homelink System (for opening up to 3 garage doors or security gates) Premium 6CD BOSE Audio System & Steering Controls (OEM); Keyless Entry Security System; Heated power side mirrors with automatic tilt while in reverse; VSA traction and stability Control
But also has these factory options:
Fully Integrated Factory installed DVD Navigation System
Factory LED rear spoiler
Wood Trim Kit (looks super classy in a parchment interior)
Acura Winter Floor Mats (Driver & Passenger)
Acura Factory Rubber Trunk Tray (since car was new)
The car is in excellent mechanical condition. There are absolutely no problems with the engine, suspension, transmission, or any other part of the car. It received oil changes every 3500 miles using high quality Mobil One fully synthetic oil.
Transmission you ask? I ran mine until 77,000 miles when the recall occurred and Acura replaced it even though I had not been having problems with it. When the new transmission went in, I added a transmission cooler to be safe. It has baane strong ever since. I rarely have used the sport mode and I think this has helped.
This car has never been involved in any kind of accident and has not had any body work of any kind done to it.
I have maintained the car is excellent condition. I have all the reciepts and service records. The following items were recently done:
Installed new battery this month (original lasted 6 years)
Installed new All-Season tires this spring
Replaced factory rotors with high-performance Rotora slotted rotors last winter
Installed high-performance ceramic brake pads
Replaced air filter and cabin filters
Recently replaced spark plug with high performance plugs
My asking price is $10,500, which is lower than the KBB Private Party value of $11,445, the NADA Retail Value of $12,265 and Edmunds Appraisal Value of $11,416. But keep watching this thread for price updates. I need this sold.
I have a clean title in hand, and am looking for a quick sale. But you have to have exact change (Don't tell me stories about your uncle in Kiev with an uncashed check please!)

The Coupe really died out, theres a guy on eBay selling one just like yours in Silver and 130k miles for $8800 buy it now so I am guessing the value on these old coupes is a goner, I was thinking of buying the coupe from him for $8k or so, but I like your car but you will far away

Wow the car looks great. I am currently searching for a car for my wife so she can get to work. If the car goes below 10K I would be willing to take a trip for a test drive. keep me updated. but wish you luck. Hopefully my TL looks as good 5 years from now.
