SOLD! Rays Engineering 19x8.5 +35 lightweight wheels...3G TL Hotness $500 FIRM local

So here's the deal. These are originally Nissan OEM accessory (NISMO) wheels. They are offered from Nissan in a bright silver or gunmetal. The silvers went on clearance from Nissan last month (you can find them on ebay for about $550 delivered for a set), but the gunmetals had not gone on clearance at time of purchase.

I bought them from Soyboy26 locally last weekend because of the fabulous price, and the fact they are forged Rays Engineering wheels... unbelievable for $500.

here's the original thread:
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=nismo

Only reason I'm selling... I was gonna powdercoat them Gold or Gunmetal. I called around and found a few powdercoaters and was getting prepped to drop them off next month (about $400 to coat em). I just happended to look on ebay today to see how many of these were floating around, and low and behold, the Gunmetals are also on clearance now. I just snagged a set of them for $700! That makes this decision easy for me... no hassle, color i wanted out of the box.

I just want what i paid for them... $500 Local NoVA FIRM.

To be clear, these are f$cking VOLKS for $125 each! Sure, Nissan cut a contract to make they're performance wheels for them, branding them NISMO... but that's just a sticker that has already been removed. Take a look at the 350Z Nismos... TE37 anyone?

19x8.5 +35 is the perfect 3G TL offset, I'm currently running a set of Rays Volk Racing GT-S in the exact same offset right now. I don't NEED these wheel by any mean, but knowing these are Ray's Engineering FORGED monoblocks for $150 each, i can't say no... They ARE CE28s without the stickers. A CE28 in this size would cost $600+ from a GRAYMARKET (as in cheaper) Volk dealer.

They are ALL new in the box, and come as I received them... "Rays" valve stems, lugs, center caps.

21lbs each... 19"

Do yourself a favor, if you don't buy mine, buy a set of these off ebay now. You'll never see a deal like this again, for this quality. Set yourself with a nice track wheel...

Thanks for looking, and thanks soyboy for the photos.

Ha ha... time to be part of the countries credit problem. Shall I bring them to work (Tysons) tomm?

FYI, any interested parties... These wheels would look super hot AS-IS on any dark colored TL or silver.

Yep...
For clarity, YES these will fit a Type-S with BBK... and are fully TPMS compatible WITHOUT using bands or adapters.

LOL...

No.

They're new in the box wheels ONLY, see the 1st pic.

The "mounted" wheels picture is from another user who has the same rims.

The NISMO logo is merely a sticker, which has already been removed.

Hub Spacers? Not required.

I think you may be refferering to "hub rings". Hub rings are never required, but optional to run any aftermarket rim as they ensure the wheel lines up centered on the hub as you torque it down.

I never run them. If you install the wheel correctly, properly seat the lugs, and torque correctly, you will not have vibrations.

If you want hub rings, they're $12 from ebay as well.

As for folks looking for these on ebay:
Search "Nismo Maxima Wheel" - brinster34 was the seller.

but enough of me promoting other ebay sellers, how about somebody come and pick up this awesome deal right now.

Looks like soyboy took his pic down... Here's what they look like (again, NIB, NISMO sticker removed):

Silver... The contrast looks good. Unless you're going for the "blackout look", but then gunmetal wouldn't look good either.

If I had NBP, I'd do the silvers. I went witht he Gunmetal becasue I have WDP, and think the darker GM color is a nice contrast.

Cmon ballin... You need some winter rollers. These are cheap enough that you could roll them in the snow and not care, yet enjoy a good looking wheel at the same time.

Where are you in the area?

I'm interested, but I'm a little bit hesitant concerning the offset. Will it be possible to meet up this weekend somewhere and let me see if these will clear my BBK and see how it sits on my car?

Sure, I live in Stafford, near the Marine Base... right off 95. Feel free to PM me when you'd like to come down and try one on. I should be home most of the weekend.

These wheels clear my Brembo OEM BBK on my TL without issue, how much bigger is your BBK...?
