I have here up for sale a Gateway Solo 2500 Laptop. This Laptop has a 12.1 inch screen, a 300 mhz Celeron processor, 64 mb or ram, and a 6.2 GB hard drive. This computer is in very good working condition, everything on it works with the execption of the laptops fold up screen. The screens backlight is burnt out. It flickers on and off sometimes but it gets annoying so I have just always hooked it up to a monitor, there are no problems with the video card it is just the back light in the monitor, if you look at the screen in the right light/real hard you can see what is on the screen it is just not illuminated. I am including a screen from a Solo 2300 that I took off my other laptop before the hard drive failed. I am not sure if it fits the Solo 2500 but I know that it does work. The computer also has to be plugged in to run the battery does not hold a charge. The computer has very few blemishes on the casing of it, the computer is in great condition. There are 2 USB ports, an infared eye, a serial port, a monitor port, a docking station port, a paralell port, 2 PCMCIA slots, a CD-ROM, a floppy drive, a mouse/keyboard port(PS2), a power adapter port, a microphone, a video out, a external microphone port, a headphone port, and a line out port. I have A LOT of extras to go with this laptop. What comes with the computer: 1.a Telepath modem with xjack and cable 33.6 modem with x2 technology. 2.a notebook network card 16bit 10/100 lan. 3.a xircom modem 56k. 4.a laptop screen from a Solo 2300. 5.a laptop battery from a Solo 2300(not sure if it works for the 2500, i didnt want to try it cause its a different voltage) not sure if it even holds a charge at all. 6.2 chargers that plug into the wall to run the computer. 7. a cable to connect to modem from a motorola cell phone. not sure what phone. 8.a multimedia notebook system CD. 9.a lot of software, includes: warcraft 2 battle.net edition with official strategy guide, 10. microsoft money 2000 11.1998 Grolier encyclopedia 12.101 games 13.Microsoft Bookshelf 1996-1997 edition 14.McAfee Virus Scan version 6.0 15.EF 200(flight game) 16.Command & Conquer 17.Clue 2: murder at boddy mansion 18.Strike Commander Tactical Operations(flight game) 19.Mech Warrior 2 20.Animal Kingdom 21.Tornado: Operation Desert Storm(flight game) 22.101 games: Rec Room 23.Extreme Pinball 24.Mountian Splendor(Screen saver & wallpaper 25.SIM Safari 26.Charlies Angels- CD 27.SIM Copter 28.Williams Arcade Classics 29.MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR 98 30.SIM Isle 31.Laptop carry case(one clasp is snapped but it still holds top closed 32.Laptop and all accesories named above and all software is original disc not burned. 33.does not come with an OS it is loaded with DOS but that is it.
