SOLD - FS: Tein Basic Coilover for 04-05 TL
I'm selling my Tein Basic Coilover from my 05 TL because I might have to sell the car. The suspension was installed on May 16 and removed last night. I put roughly 2100 miles on them. The car has 4500 today. The car is not a daily driver, so that explains the low mileage.
They are in excellent condition, no leaks whatsoever, no scratches on the shock rods, no damages on the body or threads. Everything will be included, adjustment wrenches, boots, bump stops, top aluminum spring seats (front), even installation manual, original box and all the cartons inside.
Pictures will follow. I prefer to sell this set locally in Socal but can ship at buyer's expense. The box is a little heavy so shipping can be expensive.
Asking price is $575 OBO. PM me here or send me an email at h7479gh at hotmail dot com.

I'm local and also interested. Any chance you have pictures of the coilovers installed on your car. I need a visual idea as to how far the drop is.
Upload pics or email them to me at design.blood@gmail.com
Thanks.

architectonic:
Go to this thread to see pics of my car with the suspension on and go to post #9: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115378
Originally, the distance between the center hub and the fender lip was 15" (F) and 14.5" (R). Initially, setting the spring seats as specified by Tein (1" from the bottom of the threads) reduced the distance to 13" (F) and 12.75" (R). This is the setting on the pics. I then raised them to about 13.25" all around. The car rides better after it was raised.

I don't think they would fit 2nd gen TL, though.

Photos of the actual set, taken this evening (8/24) at 10 PM:
As seen in the pictures, the set is in almost brand new condition. The car hasn't seen rain at all, so it's still squeaky clean under there. There's almost no scratches anywhere, except on the part that was pinched by the front pinch forks. You don't need to use spring compressor, there's not a scratch on the springs, either. I have adjusted the height only ONCE in their life, so there's minimal surface scratch on the spring seats, but that's it.
I've cleaned up the threads from dirt, so it's ready for install.

Do you still have the coilovers? If so, what are you wanting for them and will you ship them to Md.?
