hmm.. thats a question you would need to bring up with an acura tech...
if the 2G TL has the same front brakes (calipers) as the 3G 5AT... yes, you can do the upgrade..
best way to check is goto a website like oemacuraparts.com or acuraoemparts.com and look @ the part # and description for the front calipers for 3G 5AT's and 2G TL's...
also, you want to make sure about the knuckle placement. that you can add the knuckles for the 3G TL onto the 2G TL...
