SOLD! FS: H&R Sports (Part Number: 51858)
I advertised these a few months ago and, when someone expressed interest, turned down some offers while he decide what to do. Long story short is that he decided against it and I got too busy to post them again.
I have a brand new set of H&R Sports (in the box - never installed); part number 51858. I intended to put them on a 2003 Acura CL-S. I would like to get $120 US for the springs - buyer pays for the shipping. From what I can see, Canada Post is probably the cheapest shipper; shipping is expensive because of the weight / distance (a local sale would be my absolute preference). If you want to check out the rates yourself, I've listed the weight / dimensions at the bottom of this post.
I originally installed a set of Comptecs on the car but had corrosion issues – the reseller I purchased from was good enough to take the credit from Comptec and order the H&Rs (I didn’t want the more aggressive drop that the new Comptecs created). Anyway, I decided to sell the car before they came in so I put the original suspension back in place. That left me with a brand new set of H&Rs.

It looks like H&R used to use the following designation:
H&R OE: 51858-55
H&R Sport: 51858
Both of these spring are made for the Accord but used in the CL because they worked. Since then, H&R has introduced the 50103, specifically to address the heavier TL. I would welcome other opinions as this is simply what I’ve been able to gather through the threads.
At the end of the day, the part number is 51858 (the box does not specify a name) and not 51858-55; my expectation of the springs was about a 1.25” drop (the same as what my old Comptecs had) – the reseller told me that is what I would get with these springs. Because they’ve never been installed, I can’t tell you exactly what they looked like. Here are a couple of threads that will probably confuse things more than help:H&R OE: 51858-55
