SOLD! FS: 9006 6000K HID's

I'm selling the HID kit I used for my foglights. This is a genuine Philips HID kit purchased new about 2 yrs ago. This is a complete Plug-n-Play kit and direct fit into the 02'-03' TL-S foglights.

The kit includes:
2 - 9006 6000K HID bulbs
2 - Wiring Harnesses
2 - Philips Ballasts

9006 6000K HID kit: $300 OBO + shipping

I also have the Philips D2S 6000K HID for the lowbeams. These have the blueish tint in the light pattern. These bulbs were purchased new and dremeled a notch in order to fit the D2R housing of the TL-S.

Philips D2S 6000K Lowbeams: $110 OBO + Shipping

I'd be willing to work out a little deal if the buyer decides to purchase both.

do the fogs' burn hotter with HID's or cooler as I am worried about burning off the rockblocker film I have on there.

demolition - there was a DIY a long time ago on how to fit a D2S bulb into the D2R housing. I just followed the write up and never had a problem.

Zasker1 - I had yellow film on my fogs for the last couple months with no problems burning from the HID's

I'm interested in both Low beam bulbs and the fog hid kit. IF it's not too much trouble could you send pics to ashuram1227@netscape.net, and i can come pick them up in person with Cash. Thanks a million.

Nyshadow - The D2S's are sold pending the clearance of the payment. Are you still interested in the HID kit for the fogs? I can get pics up later this afternoon.

I'm unclear if the dremeling of the HIDs made them unusable in my 1992 Acura Legend (9006 housing). Can you explain?

k2boy22 - what housings are you talking about ?!?

frantinez63 - There are no alterations done to the 9006 kit. As far as the "dremeling", that was in reference to the D2S lowbeam bulbs. The 2nd gen. TL's used D2R bulbs in the lowbeams. Some members including myself bought D2S bulbs and these D2S's had to have a notch dremeled in order to fit the housing in the TL's.
