SOLD! FS: 19x8 Privat Netz silver and tires used
I have for sale 4 used 19x8 Privat Netz, +30mm offset with Falken FK452 tires 245/35/19. The tires themselves have about 60% tread left. 3 of the wheels have curb burn around them, otherwise they are straight and true. TPMS not included.
I am asking $900 for the set. I originally paid about $1600 for the set. Local pick-up only. I live in Sherman Oaks ,CA. Sorry. Thanks

Here are the pics of the curb rash. They are only on the outer lip of 3/4 wheels. The spokes and body itself have no damage.

wheel#4 is clean with no curb rash. Keep in mind that these are close-up pics. They don't look as bad in person. Fixing the damage is about $50-75 per wheel at a wheel repair shop. Otherwise these wheels still have that Privat shine. Feel free to stop by and check them out in person. Thanks

You've got rash on three of the four wheels. That means that whoever does buy these will need to do that work themselves to repair them. Your best bet may simply be to separate the tires from the wheels. The Netz NEW are about $175/wheel so in the classic case of "selling used/damaged stuff", you are only going to get about 50% (or less) of the original value. In this case, the rims are worth about $300 and the tires are probably worth $300 so I think your $600 target is reasonable but let the buyers pay for the shipping costs (You can get the boxes to fit these from a number of places).
PS - I have these and have been considering selling mine for some higher end wheels but I get compliments on them nearly EVERYTIME I drive it and it's clean. Service Writers at the dealership even come over and ask "Where did you get those" and "were the REAL expensive"? Most flip out when I tell them they can be bought from Discount tire for under $200/wheel...

I appreciate your input ndabunka. I really have enjoyed these wheels, but the ride on 19's in addition to being lowered was too much for me. Similiar to you, I received many compliments with this setup. The curb rash didn't bother me. I just felt like it was time to make my commute smoother, and a little less flashy. I'm now riding on gunmetal 18's with no lip. I like how it matches my car!
I think you're right on with the 50% pricing of the wheels since they are used/damaged. However, on the Discount tire website, as well as all other sites, the price is at least $200-$230 per wheel. Based on that, 4 new wheels would be $800. 3/4 are damaged, so that would drop the price to $100 for the 3 wheels, not to mention the 4th wheel which is in good condition. I figure all 4 rims to be worth $450-$500.
Even if we were to go with $175/wheel and 50% depreciation, that would still be $350 total, including the wheel without damage. Now the Falken tires retail for $180/tire. There should still be at least 60% tread left conservatively. I figure $100/tire, so $400 total for tires, or $750 for the set.
$400 for tires, and $450-$500 for the rims, this is how I came up with the original $900, which I admit was too high. I am now willing to sell the set for $600, which I believe is a good deal. As for the whole "local pick-up", I understand it may be annoying for people not in LA, but I don't have the time, nor am I willing to put forth the effort to ship out, call me lazy. I guess this just means that I may have to wait to sell these wheels/tires.
I hope this helps clarify where I came up with my pricing for the set. Hopefully one of you fellow So. Cal Ziners will come by and check out the wheels! Thanks for reading all. Sorry for the rambling.
