SOLD! F/S: Comptech Clutch (Friction Disk)
I am selling a comptech friction disk, i bought it off a member here couple weeks ago but its not compatible with the ur flywheel.

200 shipped (what i got it for).

will work w/ stock pressure plate, but traditional flywheel is required

it will fit a 04 tl but no one to my knowledge makes an aftermarket flywheel..if it fit the factory flywheel i would be all over it..

No it won't b/c the oem flywheel is dual mass and the clutch has a sprung hub. This clutch works w/ an aftermarket flywheel such as Comptech, but I am in contact w/ the guy who produces UR flywheels and he can set up a deal to produce a flywheel geared around the comptech friction disk. It will probably be a lot less than buying the comptech set which costs over $1000. A pic of the clutch is below (similar threads) is the thread started by littletruong.

I dunno if thinjim is selling his comptech flywheel or not but the clutch I'm selling is a single mass unit whereas the stock flywheel is dual mass. The clutch disk is a sprung hub, as you can see in the center, so the flywheel you must buy has to accomodate a sprung hub or else it won't fit. Besides the comptech flywheel, I tried going with Unorthodox Racing, and they sent me the wrong flywheel, but I got in touch with the guy who makes flywheels for UR and he can design a flywheel around the Comptech clutch I'm selling. Let me know what you want to do and I can give you more info.

as long as the flywheel accomodates a sprung hub and its not dual mass you'll be fine. Call Josh at Excelerate, he should be able to get you one.

just got off the phone w/ comptech. They have installed the clutch w/ the stock pressure plate and usually the Comptech flywheel. I talked to Nate, and he said that ppl have installed the 2nd gen cl clutch on a 3rd gen tl, but he didn't know the specifics, but that they used the Comptech flywheel. Usually they sell the clutch/flywheel in a set, but he said that if you give them a call they can make a deal for you. Let me know what you want to do.
