Hmn... I thought the BMW angel-eyes were more of a yellow color.
I didn't know it looked like the DIY LED angel eyes either. I'm surprised.

I actually think these will look better than CCFL, only because it's a thicker "eye" while the CCFLs are pretty thin.

Someone should definitely get these and retro them on the 3GTL

the 5 series headlight bezels are HUGE though..... don't think there is any feasible way to put them in because our headlights are so thin and long..

I think he sold them already, I have a brand new set of type s headlights ready to be baked, opened, and modded. Starting a new project!

I don't know if the bigger rings would fit in the TL, but the smaller ones should. if you could find 2 more of the smaller ones then they'd just plug right on to the spot where you take the bigger ones off.

the rings come right off of the black wiring.

I'm 90% sure that the color of the halos are the color of the bulb that's lighting them.

edit: rhsdrum08 backed out. so these are still up for grabs at the moment

if anyone is interested I have a 3rd ring of the smaller size. it does not have the bezel, the "lines" on the inside are a different pattern than those shown, and the bottom where the optic line connects is longer than the ones shown.

I'll throw that in for free.

haha I have a lot of inquiries about my type s headlights that are on my car now, I'll keep you updated.

I just bought these bmw drl halos, im thinking of retro fitting the smaller rings onto my car with a hint of blue.

You bought these ones? Hmn. Keep us updated on the retros.
If they work as DRLs I'll probably go that route instead of trying to run CCFLs as DRLs

Yup, all i need is another small ring, he gave me 3 instead of 2. Im looking at my headlight and looks like the bezel can pop right out, making installation not so bad. I'm also thinking of doing the eyebrow that starts between the two rings on top extending to the corner.

I'm also adding spaced out leds on the bottom of the headlight for the audi style. angel eyes and leds will be separate so they're both not on all the time. really excited for this, will keep you posted.

Hmn. Do you have an example of how you'll do the 'eyebrow'?
I might be able to fab it as I have some left over fiberglass and resin from my previous eyelid/eyebrow mod---still waiting for warmer days to paint it. I think the cold weather is the cause of the bad painting.
