This turbo kit was custom made for my 98 Accord coupe with a j35a8 engine/auto transmission (2007 TL Type S setup) swap. I'd like to begin by saying that this is NOT some cheap quality, budget minded turbo setup made by "Joe Blow" in his shed using his spare time. This setup was fully designed and hand fabricated with the utmost talent and skill by Matt Hickam of Alliance Fabrication, formerly Hickam Series Fabrication, in Ft Worth, Tx. Matt is a fabrication mastermind who took extreme care and lots of time hand crafting this setup. I paid top dollar ($5500) for this kit alone and trust me, it was worth every penny paid! Its a little over two years "old" and was completed in April of 2013. It has less than 3400 miles (not a type: 3400 miles) on the entire setup. It is 100% fully TIG welded and back purged which of course means maximum penetration of the welds joining the materials. All material that was used was either schedule 10 stainless steel (very thick wall tubing). There is a flex pipe on each bank between the cylinder heads and the turbos mounting flange for maximum vibration protection that decreases the fatigue placed on the welds which in turn increases the setups reliability.

The setup includes the following items ONLY:
* Front turbo manifold (which possesses the turbo mounting flange)
* Rear turbo manifold
* Both front and rear wastegate dump tubes

THIS IS IT. NOTHING ELSE.

The manifolds have four oxygen sensor bungs which I opted for because I had dual AFR gauges and this required me using four separate oxygen sensors. Any unused bungs can simply be capped off using a plug. In the photo, the AFR gauge o2 sensors are still installed but will NOT be included with sale. There is also a very small orifice drilled immediately after the bungs (two total) that was used for EGR probes to monitor each bank during boost. These are also easily plugged...or even tack welded if that makes you feel better. Though only one wastegate dump tube is pictured in the photo, the kit will include both just in case anybody is wondering. All hot side tubing is heat wrapped and/or shielded using the best materials to do so. Also, all hot side tubing was ceramic coated black prior to any wrap or shielding be added. The manifolds have some 5-6 layers of thermal insulation which can be removed if you prefer to show off the beautiful fabrication work and stainless steel.

Though these manifolds were originally fabricated into a 6g Accord, I'm quite certain they can be used in just about any 2g/3g TL (and CL) or 6g/7g Accord that's got a single port headed engine in it.

I'm asking $1650 for the manifolds and dumptubes. The price is non-negotiable and is firm. I am selling them because I've decided to use multiport exhaust heads from a j32a2 on my engine rather than the single port heads. Those whom are interested, please call or text me at 214-463-0765 if you have any questions, need further details or information, or would like to discuss payment. Payments will only be accepted through PayPal. I will gladly ship in the inner-US so this obviously excludes Alaska and Hawaii....as well as other countries. Thanks.

The next two pictures are of the entire turbo kit but they are being used because they plainly show the manifolds. You could also use this as an illustration to show what else would be needed to complete the kit.

If anyone is wondering what the turbo manifolds actually are, it is the "U" shaped pipe shown in the first two photos. That "U" pipe is both the front and rear manifolds bolted together (uses vband connections) which makes up the assembly. If you look closely, you will notice at the end of each end of the "U" are the exhaust flanges of which bolts up to each of the heads. Then at the bottom of the "U" is what's referred to as the pedestal and this is where the turbo is bolted to.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that these manifolds can quite easily be adapted to the later generation single port heads such as those from models like the 4g TL's and also the 8g Accords using a set of (provided) stainless steel bar that's been drilled and cut in such a manner that allows the flanges to be held in place by the newer exhaust flange studs which possess a wider distance between the two upper mounts. I'll include these free of charge to anyone of whom request them.

Thanks again for looking!

Do you think this will fit the engine bay of a 08 Acura MDX j37? I have the radical exhaust port as well.

Good question. I honestly cannot say. I too have an MDX (once an 08 and currently 2011) and I've looked just out curiosity before and I'd say it could very well fit WITH the use of slim line cooking fans...but I cannot guarantee this 100%. That's just from a short 5-minute observation made 1-2 years ago without much effort applied to looking around for hidden obstacles that would impede its installation.

***EDIT***

I've redecided on what's to be included with this setup. I'm now selling everything pictured above (parts laying on ground pictures) EXCEPT the turbo, blow off valve and wastegates. The new price will be changed to $2200. I will try and make another for sale thread IF the mods allow or prefer this over me editing this thread.

Remember, if anyone has ANY questions or just outright confused now (lol), do not hesitate to call or text me at 214-463-0765. Thanks.
