yes i am in houston(well close enough to it), you will also need a piece that i know Alpine(i will reply with the part number later) makes to allow the sound to be play through your speakers, or you can use an RF Modulator. i will also post the link to the write up that uses this component. oh yeah keep in mind this is not the actual DVD player its just the convertor that will allow them to be played on the stock navi screen via a switch to go back and forth from DVD to NAvi mode.
