Passport 9500i

Hey guys up for sale is a passport 9500i radar detector with built in GPS lockout feature. It picks up all bands (X, K, KA, KU, and Laser). It comes in original box with everything included. The only problem is the mute button on the power cord is jammed but it will still sound. Im looking to sell it for 300 obo, if you guys have any questions please feel free to ask.

Basically with the mute button being jammed, when the detector is going off you can't mute it. Correct?

you can not mute it though the cord, but you can mute it by the button on the actual radar detector.

i actually have the V1 as well, the nice thing about the V1 is the directional arrows that the passport 9500i doesnt have. the passport has the gps lockout feature. this is very useful in town because it blocks out false alarms!

having both V1 and passport the biggest pro over the V1 is the display. the V1 is nearly impossible to see at night, youd have to memorize the beeps.

lol thats true. i have noticed that about the v1. you cant really see which band it is, just gotta learn the different tones for the alerts

i have a V1 and im really pissed of the false alarms its really anoying. i was thinking about change it to 9500ix password but im not sure is gonna work better for me. passport has voice comands, you can block false alarms and what else ? i can say V1 saved my ass maby times but beep beep and brap brap all the time makes me tired of using it

on the passport you can block false alarms and also mark police traps so it warns you next time you drive though them. my favorite thing about the V1 are the arrows but the downside you have to know how each beep sounds like so you know what band it is unlike the passport.
