ive had cold air intakes on all my cars with no hydrosheilds and we get tons of rain here i never had any issues with water getting sucked in

your filter would need to be submerged in water for your car to suck up water pm me if your still interested but just to let u know this wont fit manual trans

because the auto tl's have a extra throttle body for traction control so the pipe at the top is shorter. the only way it would work is if you take it to someone who knows how to weld and extend the pipe
