New Megan Coilovers (custom rear Spring rate/extended warranty)

Category: Steering & Suspension
Price: $830
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G
Location (State/Prov/Terr): CA
Item Condition: Brand New

Selling a brand new set of Megan Coilovers that I bought on 2/2/11 from Statik Preformance. I Paid $860 for the coilovers with the custom spring rates and came with extended warranty.
It was $60 extra to bump up the spring rate. The Spring rates are 12F and 8R instead of the 6R. The +2 is perfect for the valving.
The box was opened just to see if the right spring rates were inside have never been taken out of the box.

Comes with a 2 Year warranty instead of the 1 year (any problems what so ever) from Statik (Henry) since I am a returning customer he threw it in for free and said it will pass on to the new owner of the coils I just have to let him know.

Prefer pick up locally as of now. To contact me faster feel free to text me

Got a few questions why the custom spring rate. I personally carry a full car from time to time and didnt want any chance of bottoming out of being low so decided to bump the spring rate +2 also felt the 6k was kind of weak.
Ride quality wise doesnt change much cause the valving is perfect for it as well as u can adjust the 32 dampening and preload.
Make use of all four doors and get the drop i wanted

The reason I'm selling is because I need the money for a torque converter solenoid sensor that went out and school books.
I initially planned to install them last week but sensor literally went out a day before and have to replace it.

Dont plant to ship soon but when i do I'll be sure to update the thread.

Well from what i was told they drop about 1.5F and 1.7R with the way they are set up from megan Without any adjustments to the coils. From what I have read these coils go the lowest for our cars as to same as BC.

I'm interested, from what I have read, and from your pictures it looks like you can adjust the ride height seperately from spring preload? I don't want a drastic drop and was planning on going with A-spec for this very reason. I don't want to have to crank up preload to maintain ride height so if these have seperate adjustments I might just be in. Let me do some more research and make a couple of calls tomorrow and ill get back with you. Also if you could take a picture of the preload adjustment rings and lower shock body (specifically adjustment ring on top of lower shock body that would be great.) Also I am in Monterey, any chance you would be willing to meet half way to do these?

Maybe i used to drive the white Celica that was slammed. I attend the drive meets regularly also and know alot of the main attendees pretty well. Nope, I have a base but apsec kit.

Yup, correct your able to adjust the ride height completely without out touching the preload for the front and the Rear. The preload as of now hasnt been touched. Like ive stated these have never been removed from the actual box. The adjustments are completely separate and you can adjust either to your personal liking. Ill try to see if i can take pictures tomorrow but the pics give a decent idea. The very right is for the rear and next to it is the front. Yup Ill be willing to meet you half. Let me know if u have any more questions.

Here are the pics of the shock body and preload collars.
For the front coils the shock body is mostly inside the body of the coils (came from Megan this way) so the front shock body can go out alot!! pretty much as much as the rears.
