MB Battles that were driven on for 12 miles. On the car for less than a day. I did manage to blemish one rim when the outer edge of the rim touched my quarter panel and barely grazed the finish on the rim. Tires are Nankang ns-2's 215/40/18 also 12 miles old.






specs are 18x9.5 +15 all around bolt pattern is 5x114.3. they no longer have this size available. I am very very firm on the price. If it doesnt sell, I will just cut into my shock tower and slap them back on.
The reason for taking them off was I was having control arm slap and decided to return the car back to manageable camber specs. This required me to take them off and slap my old rims back on.
im located in santa clara, ca. i prefer not to ship, but if worse comes to worse i will. if you have a set of rims up for trade, let me know the worse i can say is no.

 

were you like super slammed or what? I have 18x9.5+12 and never ran into that issue. I have it raised a bit now but even before never did that

Im not sure if the TL has more clearance, but on the accord once your lowered past a certain point, the control arm/ball joint slap the shock tower when hitting pavement changes or any bumps.

 

Going on a limb here and guessing this won't fit tsx 2G. Not enough offset?

 

whats the bolt pattern for the 2g TSX? not sure what you mean by not enough offset. Too aggressive or not aggressive enough?

With the 15 offset you would need to do some fender work for a 2G TSX. See this thread for more info.

Does anyone just want two of these rims to get a staggered setup with +30 in the front that are still available new?

It looks like someone is interested in the tires, I would love these rims but my concern is i think the front has wayyyyy to much poke esp compared to the back, Is there someone else that just wants two rims?

 

actually to the op, you are selling because of the slap in the front right?... just sell me two rims w/out tires and buy the +30 I would think you could cut your camber wayyy back in the front with +30 that would prly get rid of the slap right... i know it would work on a tl at least lol!

 

the slap isn't gonna go away at this point. im just way too low even with about -2 degrees camber i slap. so only way to solve this is to make uca clearance. so if no one takes this as a package by memorial day weekend i plan on cutting the towers and running these wheels again.

 

I would be interested in 2 of them as well. I have a set of 4 with 30 offset. Would ony be interested if selling below what new ones cost.

volk gt-n 18x8 +30 with two nearly new tires. even trade since you have brand new tires? let me know!

 

They are Bronze offset is +15 . Tires are matching nexxen uhps with about 60% all around no camber wear .
