I'm selling a used Injen intake, model RD1482p. this will fit all 3G TL cars and I'm selling it for a coworker of mine because he is going back to stock to sell his car. My wife won't let me install it because she said it will only make my car louder (it's already loud with my exhaust mods).

My coworker didn't install it correctly on his car (I didn't know him at the time) so there were some issues with it. He had rubbing on the underside of the intake (some members have had this same rub) and it created a through wall hole, see picture attached at the bottom of the thread.

i had a welder do a weld repair on it and he plugged up the hole and then sanded the outside of the intake. i filed down the inside weld material but there is still about 1/8 to 1/4th of weld material on the side. you can probably file it down some more but it shouldn't have any negative effect on the performance.

there was also some wear where the vibramount slot is, but this has no effect if you tighten down the vibramount well with a washer.

the price includes shipping, the intake, the coupler, and the pipe clamps. you would need to buy a filter for it and a vibramount (less than $10). the intake brand new costs over $200

yea i was reading up on it and it seems that there is a lip the intake goes over as it turns to go towards the fender and if you don't put some foam or something down, then you could possibly rub. seems like it just varies from car to car. with this weld repair and some foam laid down this intake is good to go
