Just curious. How does that work? You can't just sell them can you? Don't you have the de-register or something? I frankly don't know how this would work.

Now, if I knew that a potential buyer has a criminal record & planning to buy the gun & use it illegally, then I should not sell the gun to that person, but that's an ethical call, but I am not FFL (Federal Firearm Licensed) dealer, so I am not required to check for background on potential buyer.
There is no DE-register or something

I use to have an FFL about 15 years ago, when the Gvt was giving them out like Savings Bonds. I guess the rules have changed on those too.
Good luck in selling your collection.

Hey isn't a SIG illegal in Canada? I remember when I was going to try to come down from Alaska into Yukon Terr, I read that if I tried to cross with my AR15 and Glock; well, they would be putting me under the jail....

im interested in the Ruger P95 DC.
anyway you can just send it thru the mail, my grandpa lives in houston and um, he wants the gun. or would it have to get sent thur the FFL, i dont know anything about sending stuff like that thru the mail or anything but yeah.
would the buyer have to show proof of residence for texas? i dont think my grandpa would go all the way to dfw to get a gun for me, and i cant think of anyone but me or my dad who would have any reason of going to dfw. but we live in kansas.
thanks

Hey ken, if you're moving to CA, you can buy the FAB10 lower instead of getting rid of your AR. No mags though...10 round fixed.

Fab10?
Whats the FAB10? Is that the FNFAL clone from Enterprise? Or is that the GoGoGadgets rifle? The GoGoGadgets lower seems kinda, well crappy, but I have never handled one. If you have a review of it let me know.

At least one good thing with getting the fab10...you can have all the goodies..CAR stock, bayonet lug, etc..that has been banned in CA. Since this isn't an AW rifle according to the current laws, you can have it setup anyway you like.
I wouldn't be surprised if they ban this soon though...

Sorry I never did post the video(s). They didn't come out so well, my digital camera sucks at making short videos.
So I went to the range and it was already dark and I was the only one there. Not a single person around. This unmanned range has three lanes (100 yds, 50 yds, and 25 yds) and is about 50 yards wide and the bugs were starting the bother me and the frogs were croacking constantly and the every now and again, this owl was hooting.... If I wasn't 80 miles from home...
I had been buying three brands of tracers so I wanted to sample each one to see which I should "stock up" on in huge quantities.
The reds were practically duds. When they did light up, they were dim. The orange ones were pretty good, relatively bright and they continued to glow after bouncing or when they dug in. I thought there was going to be a fire.....
Anyway the best were the greens. These were Soviet tracers and they were the fastest, clearest, and the nicest. They're also the most expensive at $50 for 100. So I shot about 90 rounds in all. For the last 5 rounds, I took out the earplugs. Mistake. 1 1/2 ride home with ringing in my ears and a headache.
I also had my 9mm Glock and some commercial 9mm tracer ammo and for the life of me, I can't find a good 9mm tracer anywhere. Basically these were a bright flash and that's about it. No trace at all. Six wasted rounds.

The BATF "yellow sheet" you fill out is only required for the dealers records per Federal law. If there is a criminal investigation related to that weapon or the dealer the BATF may come & go retrieve the form(s) from his files but that's it.
Also if the FFL holder goes out of business all records must shipped to the BATF.
If you want a permit to carry a handgun then that could be constued as registration of the CCW permit holder but none of the handguns are registered.

Went out to the unattended public range just after dark, only person on the range was me; completely empty. Quickly found out that the reds and the orange tracers were crap, won't order any more of those. But those green ones...from the USSR....

You are the man, personally I couldn't see the purpose of an AR15 (i've fired them before, and they are beautiful awesome guns..just a little difficult to conceal ). Hell I would love to see those vid captures of those tracers, so send the link up when you have them.
