bmencig--the group buy is a go.
309.00 USD for the Mugen Grill--painted
43.00 USD for the colored hood trim
30.00 USD for the radiator cover which I think you do not need....could be wrong though.

Faxed in my completed BPT order form this morning... now all I got to do is sit back and anxiously wait.

(Not only waiting on this and my TSX... but I have my XM Commander here and ready, not to mention my already orderd rear lip spoiler, Injen intake, LED lights, & Phillips headlamps coming soon. I am gonna have a busy first week with my car just installing all this stuff... Oh boy... better than Xmas!)

FYI, I just spoke to BPT and the Mugen Grill is not in stock and will take 4-6 weeks for them to receive it. So fax in your order, they will charge you the 50% deposit and when the parts come in they'll charge you the rest once they ship it.

Yes, both the Euro R and Mugen Grill need to order from Japan, so it will take 4-6 weeks.

I am sorry that I didn't mention that in my other post, but I just assumed that since you are getting the Grill in body color, I don't think anyone would expect a shop would have 5 Grills of each different body color in stock for the TSX.

I just received some bad news guys for those of you who have CG as their color. I faxed in my order and this is what BPT had to say about the Mugen Grill painted in Carbon Grey:

Lee,

Upon beginning to put together these orders... we have found out that
Mugen does not sell a painted grill in Carbon Grey!
Sorry for this confusion and mistake.
We might have to cancel the orders made by people who has placed their
orders for Carbon Grey Grills.
In this case, I guess you might just want to cancel the rest of your
order?

Sorry again
Best Regards
Morris King

What's up with that? Is this a fact?

Carbon Grey...

I have yet to be contacted by BPT regarding this issue. I will request an unpainted grill and just get it painted by my local body shop. It's a bummer, but definately not a show-stopper. I want that Mugen grill for sure.

Guess when I get my car I will stop by an autoparts store and get a paint mix. I always go to this one place that has a Dupont Chromovision paint matching camera. Hopefully it can mix a perfect match. Anyone know if Carbon Grey Pearl is a difficult paint to match? I hope not...

Anyone know the color code for CG? If so, can you post it up so I can double check to see if Mugen really didn't have one.

I agree... either way, the end results are going to be the same sweet-looking grill.

I emailed BPT earlier this morning, but haven't heard a peep from them regarding the CG grill availability. Anyone else get word about this from them?

This is what BPT sent me earlier... I responded with a go ahead for the unpainted grill.

"Chad

After going through our calculations, $240usd is the best price we can
offer on the Mugen unpainted grills

Let me know if this is still ok with you and we will keep your order on
file!
Thanks again and sorry for the mistake

What do you guys think? $240 is what everyone sells it for... we have more than 6 people buying from them, that's not even a deal if you ask me.

Kingmotorsports was going to give it to us for 209 but then again it was for a group buy of 10...

your thoughts?

Did you tell him that you had a better deal through King??? Maybe if you tell him we had a buy going with King, he will let it go for that?????

Who besides myself and Xizor have placed an order for the grill that is NOT Carbon Gray
I am trying to see if there is 6 of us still.

At this point, I just want to get all the items I need and buying it from one vendor is gonna make it easier than chasing several group buys that take several weeks to organize.

If everyone sells it for $240, then at least I feel like I am not getting screwed anymore than I would anywhere else. LOL

Besides, I am gonna need a whole lot more parts from such vendors as BPT... and it won't hurt me to get a relationship going with them so maybe I can get better deals down the pipe.

I got my order through with BPT but i do not have CG, i ordered a PWP, and after i read about everyone can't get it, i called them and they said i will still keep your order even there is no total of 6 people ordering. so for people that doesn't have CG, try to get your order in ASAP

Yes, I kept my order in...I really want this grill and trim.

I love the idea of group buys, but I have yet to participate in one that doesn't fall through or has a complication like this one has had.

This reminds me of the group buy I went in on for a set of imported Omori gauges for my WRX. Everything was going fine until Omori of North American stepped in and restricted the sale of their gauges with imperial measurements. In short, they wouldn't let us get gauges from overseas unless they were in metric measurement. Now who the heck want's metric boost, oil, and EGT guages in their car when they already suck at math? LOL

So I am not giving up this time - I can correct this problem! LOL

I just double check with the color code from the Mugen Grill package, I am sad to tell you that it is TRUE that Mugen don't have the Grill in CG. And the bad thing is that out of the 7 ppl, 3 ppl want CG.

I also emailed BPT on the unpainted one, they told me the very best they can do on the unpainted is $240usd+shipping. And I already told them that we can get a GB price of $209 from elsewhere.

BPT said they really can't do any better for the unpainted Mugen Grill, so $240usd is their best price on it. If we can find a better price at other place, we are welcome to get the unpainted one from else where.

However, they said since it was their mistake this time, they will still offer the GB price on the painted Grill along with other items to everyone this time. So the painted Mugen Grill, Euro R Grill, hood trim, and the plastic cover GB are still on.

So the question now is that for the ppl with CG TSX, do you still want to get the unpainted one for $240usd? Pls let BPT know soon, so he can get the order in sooner.

Yes, sounded like the buy is still good. BPT hasn't place the order yet, since they are waiting to see what the ppl with CG TSX want first.

So let me update the list and let me know if there is any mistake.

Mugen Grill

1)chadjcyr (unpainted grill, CG hood trim+plastic cover) - ordered
2)xizor (PWP, plastic cover) - ordered
3)cmf (SSM, plastic cover) - ordered
4)dalokster (unpainted grill, plastic cover) - ordered
5)21_in_az (CG, hood trim+plastic cover) - ordered
6)cornholio (PWP, hood trim+plastic cover) - ordered
7)bmencig (unpainted grill+hood trim)

Euro R Grill

1)kangjin (CG, plastic cover) - ordered
