okay I got a response from PPP but it's not a good one... this is what they had to say about the bottom trim piece fitting the stock TSX grill..

Hello,

Hmm...I never tried that before, but I would imagine it will only fit
the Euro-R grill. I have tried using the Acura botton piece to fit the Euro-R grill and it leaves a gap. So I'm very sorry I'm just not sure...I'm not going to promise you anything.

Best Regards,
Howard

I will stick with just the hood trim then to be safe. So, 1 SSM hood trim please. How are we doing the payment arrangements?

just wondering what cha'll are planning on doing with just the hood piece. i doubt you're planning on simply installing that piece and leaving the rest of the grill alone.

I just e-mailed kings to see if they would let us do a group buy on the Mugen grill, so we'll see what happens. I asked for pricing w/ 5 or more and also 10 or more

I'm gonna have to agree with Jigga, if they don't bother to answer after 5 messages, obviously they don't care enough about our business... I would just call it quits.

Besides, GB are difficult to deal with especially with everyones requests and so fourth (which I'm guilty of also).

I know it is difficult to go back and fourth between the forum people and the dealer. And since you are the mediator accsuperstar, you're probably running a little short on patience too and I commend you on trying to get this GB together for us and I do appreciate it.

However with all the efforts involved, I'm gonna pass and buy this piece on my own. For a $5 saving, it's just not worth to put you through this trouble accsuperstar.... I rather save you the frustration and mediating for bigger and better group buy, not that you'll ever want to do another one again after this

Thanks for the effort man!
-Lee

FYI, polepositionproducts.com is selling the colored hood trim pieces for 50.00, still a little bit of a savings.

I also e-mailed them to see if they would do a group buy w/ 10 or more people.

Hey acc and everyone else, while stepping on feet, the guy from polepositionproducts replied and said with 10 orders, he will sell at 43.00 each USD. Additionally, it would be a set total of 30.00 USD to ship to any address. Here's what I'm thinking, we get 10 people, ship to one address, and save big bucks. What do you all think? ACC? Again, sorry, I thought you were talking with boomplus, but now it becomes a better deal. If we get 10 together now, we send him the money, while he places the order......bam.....everyone has a colored hood trim piece.

i got off the phone with him and he told me it was 43 + 20 dollars shipping and i told him i only had around 6-7 interested. thats what i was planning on doing. i was going to take all of them and ship them out individually. he needs half the deposit so i will be PMing everyone to see if they still want to go for this. he said he can take payment individually from paypal (would be easier for me with the fees and all).
