If they are, they really do SLAM. I have a set of them on my 1G CL and I made the mistake of putting them all on completely dropped when I first installed them. The car was literally on the floor in my garage and just spun the front tires. They are now at max height in the rear and almost max in the front and I am still tucking tire in the back, just barely tucking in the front. They ride very nicely too, not too hard not too soft.
