This subwoofer is timeless. I bought it in 1998 for $500 after reading multiple reviews. The thing is simply a powerhouse. It is in good exterior condition and in perfect working order. If you live in a townhouse or apartment certainly do not test this out after dark. I've use test cd's with bass tones well in the 20Hz region and this subwoofer belted them out.
