FS: PnP 3G TL "blue led mod" security button...
Gents,
After doing this mod and posting my success, I had quite a few folks PM and ask I do one for them.
Being the giving soul I am, I complied, and bought a few extra's for anyone else out there that wanted one.
What you get is a brand new PnP SECURITY button and harness that was hand modified by me. I just desoldered the RED led and replaced it with a BLUE one. Sure, you can do this yourself for a few bucks if you're handy with a solder iron, but this is for the folks that aren't solder iron comfortable... Plus, this mod is PnP, so it's completely reversible in about 3 minutes for trade in.
All you have to do to install it is pop your door panel loose on the side, disconnect the existing security button, pull the button up and out (from the backside) and install this one. and plug it in.
Here's what you get:
$30 paypalled to kennedyusmc@earthlink.net and it's on the way Saturday... I have 5 extra's

Yeah...
I'm not making any real money though, just helping out those that want em...
After it's all said and done (buying and shipping parts, and shipping them to you), I rake in about $10 per light for my handy work... that way it makes it worth my time to source the parts and do the mod.
This more about giving to the community of folks who have given so much to me.

This is a one time sale. It's ok to sell these 5, and when they are gone that's it. So anybody that wants one, make sure you are among the first 5 to send your money in.

I said you could sell these 5, didn't I? I know you were trying to help them out, plus make a few bucks while doing it, so that's why I posted what I did, so there wouldn't be any confusion.
What I said to edlinnguyen was a reply to a very different thing than your sale of the 5 you offerred.

The Donkey Is King !!!!!
Guys I installed mine today in 20 mins........it should take 5 but this was the first time I had to unscrew anything in the door panel. It does not need to come all the way off either - just loosen the screws so you can get your hand in there.
Mad props to Kennedy for making this for me. I'm NOT handy with a soldering iron but I can do little things with my car like pnp mods.
The Donkey is King !!!!
I highly reccomend getting one from him before they are gone !!!!
MANY THANKS KENNEDY!!!!!!!!

Took me longer to take a pic with the light on than it did to install my Security Light !!!
