The amps were never overheated, there was a special vent/a/c unit installed in the rear of our trunk so the amps were cool the whole time! The system comes with all phoenix wiring for the complete system. I can't tell you specifics of the wiring, i'm not a stereo expert. I had the system professionally installed and removed from Audiosports, Folsom CA.
