FS: 92 Prelude S... $500... BHG
$500
220k miles
Auto
The Good:
1.) Brand new axles installed two weeks ago (i am really pissed about this)
2.) New radiator installed over the summer
3.) Tires have more than 60% tread
4.) Interior is very clean
5.) A/C and Heat both work
6.) Brakes have about 75% life
7.) Car has a clean title and the carfax does not show any accidents...
The Bad:
1.) AT - i guess this is good if someone wants this as a DD and lives in a city with lots of traffic...
2.) BHG... car starts and runs but will overheat after about 5-10 mins...
The Ugly:
1.) Cancer spots (rust) above rear wheel well, on sunroof, and where spoiler meets trunk lid... Some body work and paint would make her a beaut...
The History:
this was my daily driver for when i used to work 45 miles from home... i drove it everyday with no probs for 8 months... i just recently got a job closer to home (9 miles) so i drive my other car more often now... the HG went on Thursday morning and i don't have any more time to invest into the lude... my initial plan was to save up until spring and swap an engine in and do some body work and repaint it... if i still had a far commute to work i would fix her and keep her, it was great on gas... but now that i am closer to home it doesn't make sense for me to pay insurance on 3 cars when one of them needs fixin... it would make a great project for anyone that has the time for it... an F22B or H23 swap and you have a great running car... if i cannot find someone to take her, she will get donated whole to a charity...
Pics of car and rust damage...
this is the car when i first brought it home... the bumper lense that are currently on the car are amber now... i still have the clears but their is one missing as shown in the pic...
Driver side rear quarter panel.
Passenger side rear quarter panel.
Spolier to trunk lid
Sunroof
i'll try to take some interior and engine pics tomorrow...
